The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.

My Story

I came to yoga through my wife and I will always be thankful for her opening the door for me. Since that introduction I have found my own personal practice and narrowed down my enjoyment of The Yoga to Ashtanga Yoga in the lineage of T. Krishnamacharya, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and many other senior instructors. I share a modified ashtanga class introducing students to the practice in a fun and light-hearted way. My classes aim to cultivate for myself and students a sense of balance – simultaneous strength and surrender with a goal of building a regular personal practice.

In 2016 I completed my yoga teacher training with Embrace Yoga Studios, and after helped teach the
Ashtanga modules for their YTT program for a few years. I am always on the lookout for any chance to
practice or attend workshops with ashtanga practitioners. I consider myself lucky to have had the
opportunity to catch David Swenson and Shelly Washington spending seven days learning under them
for David’s 40-hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training. I have attended workshops from David Garrigues,David Keil, Kino Macgregor practiced under Boonchu Tanti in Thailand, Larry Hobbs (my teacher) and many other practitioners who I am forever thankful for their guidance.
