Class Descriptions
We offer a variety of classes for all levels whether, you are new to yoga or seasoned practitioner. Let us guide you, no matter what part of your journey you are on. All classes are heated unless stated otherwise.
Hot Vinyasa
Discover new and different ways to advance your practice. Expect to move with your breath and focus your attention; this well balanced flow class will get you out of your head and into your body and your breath. Room temperature is higher and classes are more challenging.
Flex + Flow
This class combines fast-paced cardio intervals with strength training, Pilates and yoga; performed with weights to keep the heart rate up and the energy flowing.
RN Open Studio
Each student works at their own pace and level with an individual series or therapeutic approach. The teacher is present to adjust, support and assist each student one on one within a group setting with sequencing, breath coordination, and postural alignment. Each student develops a self-practice they can have for life.
Warm Vinyasa
A yoga class for those newer to yoga or those wanting an achievable flow class. This class introduces foundational yoga postures, teaches you how to breathe and helps you feel more comfortable in the yoga practice. Although this class moves at a slower pace than the other vinyasa classes, expect to be challenged both mentally and physically.
Flow To Yin
Flow2Yin is a marriage of the strong, Yang Vinyasa Yoga with the receptive Yin Yoga. Active, yet grounding sun salutations and standing flows are offered in the first half of class to enliven the body and chase away any fatigue. The Yin half of class, on the other hand, offers passive, seated and supine poses that are held for anywhere from 2 – 7 minutes on each side. The Yin aspect helps to switch off fight-or-flight mode, promoting balance throughout the nervous system and allowing for a sense of peace and relaxation.
All levels class!
Ashtanga Vinyasa
The entire primary series of the Ashtanga system is taught in its traditional format. The focus is on the meditative flow of breath and movement (vinyasa). This class focuses on the execution of breath transitions, sequence of postures and internal and external form. Pace is dynamic and steady.
